Kinston Welcome Center (Kinston’s Hub)

Our Portfolio
Project Description

This project is actually two projects;

the first is the new construction of their clubhouse and the second is all of the public scope of the grounds around the complex. The welcome center, also called the “Kinston Hub,” will be a ground-up, one-story, 5,700 SF clubhouse with infrastructure for a commercial kitchen, assembly area, and gathering area. This project includes multiclad/multi-facade, high-end finishes, and a heavy millwork package. There will also be multiple fireplaces with a large, central fireplace. The amenities of the welcome center will be utilized by the Kinston living community.

Strategy
Through pre-construction, the Symmetry team helped guide some of the pricing and product selections to optimize the owner’s budget. Additionally, this project was concurrent with additional infrastructure updates being completed by other contractors. Lastly, there was a hard deadline due to the timeline of the HOA for the building, so Symmetry Builders was tasked with meeting a tight schedule. Originally, we were going to break ground in March 2021, but due to weather conditions, permits, and the site infrastructure package, we broke ground in the second half of May 2021.
