Our story.

It all started back in 2010 and 2011 when Tcon Restoration & Construction and Symmetry Builders, Inc. formed and entered the construction industry in Colorado. Interestingly, the companies have each shared the same guiding principles since being founded. The primary vision has always to been to prioritize people over profits and add value to everything we do.

After a decade of experience in the field, the ownership of both organizations saw the need for something more than a commodity builder in additional sectors of Colorado’s real estate development. Enter: Teton Custom Homes, Symmetry Modular, Symmetry Consulting, and Symmetry Development. Then finally, we all came to our senses and joined forces in 2022 to form The Symmetry Companies. Our mission is to give you the flexibility to call us for any project or development type.

2010

Tcon Restoration & Construction is formed by T.Jay Gilpatrick.

2011

Symmetry Builders, Inc. founded in Boulder, CO by Andy Wood, Henry Zurbrugg, and Lynn Clark.

2014

Symmetry expands to a new office space on Walnut St. in Boulder, CO.

2015

Symmetry Builders, Inc. launches a new logo and website in response to increased market presence.

2016

Symmetry Builders, Inc. and Tcon Restoration & Construction, Inc. worktogether on their first joint-venture project.

2018

Symmetry Builders, Inc. moves to Dacono, CO.

2019

Tcon logo gets a refresh and Symmetry Modular is formed as a division of Symmetry Builders.

2020

Teton Custom Builders is established in the State of Colorado by Symmetry and Tcon’s founders.

2022

The Symmetry Companies are established including the formation of Symmetry Development and Symmetry Consulting and consolidation of Symmetry Builders, Symmetry Modular, Tcon, and Teton.
